“Laura was absolutely invaluable this summer. She assisted above and beyond what she was required to do. She was an absolute delight and far more professional than any other high school student I've ever known. Because we unexpectedly lost our teacher at the beginning of the summer, Laura was very needed and contributed greatly.” Wonderland Developmental Center
“Jennifer was key to the success of our summer drop-in program. Without her we would have been shorthanded and our program would have suffered. She brought creativity, flexibility, and a strong sense of leadership to the program” James Flynn, Education Director, North Seattle Boys & Girls Club
For the past couple of summers, Lifelong AIDS Alliance has been lucky enough to have a TIPS intern. TIPS interns have meant a great deal to our work, whether they have filed records or input data or chopped carrots in our kitchen. This help was never more crucial than this year (2004) when the highly skilled, but unsuspecting TIPS intern was suddenly in charge of the Lifelong AIDS Alliance Volunteer Department. If the TIPS intern was overwhelmed at being in charge, she didn't show it. We appreciated having her for the summer and look forward to her continued presence with us as a volunteer. Thanks to TIPS Lifelong had a great addition to our staff for the summer and people living with HIV and AIDS received the help they depend upon from our volunteers. Tina Podlodowski, Executive Director, Lifelong AIDS Alliance
