"Ben has done an awesome job making each of the kids he comes in contact with feel special and cared for. He gives individual attention to the campers on a level that is appropriate, specifically for them. His fun loving and easy going nature makes the campers feel comfortable and at ease. He makes them smile and laugh and helps them all have a good time no matter the activity of the day. No matter the difficulty of a situation Ben has been able to meet it and successfully meet the needs of the individual participant.."

"Christine has been a dedicated and crucial part of my team since she started in June. Her strong sense of purpose and obvious love for underpriveleged children in our community is reflected everyday in the children who, when she is away, ask about her unyieldingly. I'm blown away at how her gentle compassion acts as an intense magnet that draws children to her. More than knowing what needs to be done, and doing it, Christine's patience with the childrn goes above and beyond expectation. As a result, the children are empowered to create, who would not have created, and try what they would not have tried. "

"Marshall displayed compassion and understanding for the children since the first day he walked through the door of the program. Marshall seems to understand that although the children are homeless they are no different than any other children. With that understanding in mind, he is able to work effectively with all the children. He is somewhat of a big brother to the children. They lovingly refer to him as "Teacher Marshmallow" and he is greeted wiht this title each morning as he enters the classroom. He easily learned the routines of the classrooms. which allows him to be very effective in his work with the children. He displays a lot of initiative and takes pride in his work with the children."
