On June 12th, 2012, Marah Williams age 19, died after a long struggle with chemical dependency and depression. To honor her memory her parents, Penny LeGate and Mike Williams, and sister Molly have established the Marah Project to help others achieve their life goals. The Marah Project mission is to offer underserved teens a transformational learning opportunity through paid internships in community service. The Marah Project Video was done by a close friend and colleague of the Penny LeGate family, John Yeager. John has worked in the Seattle media market for the past 20 years. He was a friend of Marah’s. This video is part of his Master’s program in Digital Media at the University of Washington.
